Pryor students averaged 19.8 on the 2025 ACT, showing strong academic growth. The announcement came during the State of the Schools presentation at the Pryor Area Chamber of Commerce PACE meeting, where School Board President Fred Sordahl introduced Superintendent Dr. Lisa Muller to the audience at the MidAmerica EXPO Center.

Student Leadership:
All Pryor school sites have earned Lighthouse School designation, a recognition of a strong focus on student leadership.Enrollment Growth:
The district continues to experience steady growth, with 2,944 students currently enrolled.Bond Project Progress:
High School – Phase IV construction is underway. This phase will bring all high school facilities under one roof and add a second storm shelter, improving both function and safety.
Middle School construction is in progress, raising the sunken library to building level and adding four additional classrooms to serve growing student needs.
Graduation Requirements:
Recent state changes increase the number of required math credits from three to four and provide students with more flexibility to align coursework with future goals. Pryor High School students now select from career pathway options, including:Agriculture

Students may also change pathways during their education, ensuring they remain on track with evolving interests and career aspirations.
Looking Ahead
Future district plans include building a new middle school campus for 7th and 8th-grade students and completing Phase II of the Tiger Stadium project. This work is part of a three-phase development plan scheduled to launch in spring 2026.
